• Children under the age of three should use the appropriate restraint

• Children over the age of three who measure less than 135 cms in height must use an appropriate restraint

• Children over the age of 12 or taller than 135 cm (whichever comes first) must use an adult seat belt.

• The driver is liable for prosecution if a child under the age of 14 does not wear a seat belt or use an appropriate safety restraint.

• There is a £30 fixed penalty notice for non-compliance.

ISOFIX BABY AND CHILD SEATS
